Eden Landing

Start/End: Parked along Breakwater Ave (Hwy 92 freeway frontage road), alongside the Hayward Interpretive Center.

Before work run that was sort of a failure. Still got in a 5.6 mile run though. Ran along the short section of road shoulder and then over the pedestrian/bike bridge to the south side of 92. Attempted to run the full loop but there was a seasonal closure and a ranger yelled at us (because he'd left the gate open and we ran through it having no idea that part was closed). We'll have to do the rest of this in the winter.

Start/End: Parked at the Eden Landing trailhead parking lot

Back in the winter and uneventful trip around loop this time. This time we did a short paddle along Eden Creek first from the Kayak trailhead there. There's actually a lot of interesting historical artifacts around the loop that I didn't remember from the summer, including pieces of wind powered archimedes pumps.

Alas we missed a spur trail, so we will return to this section to fix that.
