Hudeman Slough to Napa

Start/End: Start car on Skaggs Island Rd, near the railway tracks. Finish car was at the South Napa Shopping center parking lot, just off Imola Ave

Notes: Back on mostly Bay Trail today, though many of the official pieces only had a narrow bike lane to give them that distinction. Most of the roads were lightly used country roads though so it never felt unsafe. Scenery was beautiful in the early morning Napa light. One of the prettiest sections.

Today we visited the Napa river at Cuttings boat launch, a possible put in place for our kayak, and ran the famous tunnel of trees, before several miles on the shoulder/bike lane of oddly named Golden Gate Ave, and finally walked the busy Imola Ave across the Napa river and back to our car.

Now at the furthest north point of the Bay Trail. All downhill back to Oakland.
