Carquinaz Lookout to Bencia State Park

Start/End: Start car at the end of Waterview Terrace. Finish car outside the State Park (inside the park is $6)

Notes: Rain was threatening and it's been a tiring week, but we made our way up here on a Thursday night to get part of the north side of Carquinez Strait done. Back on old ground here as much of this section is on Bay Area Ridge Trail. And not just any piece of the Ridge Trail, actually the first segment (of 70) we did in our 2020 TOGETHERelay (solo).

The best part is the shoreline walk through rocks and driftwood around Glen Cove (and that was the one piece not part of the Ridge Trail).
