Carquinez bridge to Pinole

Start/End: Start car at Dead Fish restaurant in Crockett. Finish car at the Pinole waste water treatment plant trailhead.

Notes: The initial couple of miles of this run are on San Pablo, and are fairly sketchy. There's little to no shoulder. Best to do this when there's few cars.

Once you get to Willow Rd the trail begins and you can follow beautiful paved trail all the way to the treatment plant (with the exception of a few blocks where you can walk along a sidewalk of a road that parallels where the trail would be, or it seems like you could also follow a single track trail as well).

Beyond those first two miles this is how you might imagine the whole Bay Trail being. Great path. Great views. We even saw a snake.
